Terms of Use

These terms cover the use of this website. They are not the contract for electrical work — that is a separate written agreement we give you before any job starts.

Who runs this site

D&K Electric LLC, Batavia, IL 60510, Illinois Electrical License #26-00034250.

What this site is

Information about the electrical services we offer, so you can decide whether to call us. It describes work we do. It is not instructions for doing that work yourself.

Nothing here is a quote

Prices, timescales and scope depend on the job, and nobody can size an electrical job from a web page. No price or estimate is binding on us unless we have put it in writing for your specific job.

Do not use this site as a how-to

Electrical work is dangerous and, for most of what is described here, legally required to be done by a licensed electrician and inspected. Nothing on this site is instruction to work on your own electrical system, and we are not responsible if you do.

Emergency service

We offer 24/7 emergency service, which means we answer and respond as fast as we can — not that we can be everywhere at once. If you think there is a fire, or someone has been hurt, call 911 first.

Accuracy

We keep this site correct and current as best we can, but we do not promise it is free of errors or always up to date. If you spot something wrong, tell us and we will fix it.

Links to other sites

Where this site links somewhere else, we are not responsible for what is there.

Our content

The text, photographs, logo and design of this site belong to D&K Electric LLC or are used with permission. Please do not copy them for your own business.

Limits on our liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss arising from your use of this website. This does not limit our responsibility for the electrical work we actually carry out for you — that is covered by your written agreement with us, by our insurance, and by Illinois law.

Which law applies

These terms are governed by the law of the State of Illinois, and disputes belong in the courts of Kane County, Illinois.

Changes

If these terms change, the date at the top of the page changes with them.
