This policy explains what D&K Electric LLC does with information you give us through this website. It is written to be read, not to be got past.

Who we are

What we collect

Only two things:

• What you type into our contact form. Your name and phone number are required. Your email, the service you picked and anything you write about the job are optional. Alongside that we record which page of this site you sent the form from, and which site sent you here if you arrived from a link or a search. That is so we know which parts of the site are actually useful. We do not record anything else, and none of it is stored on your device.
• Ordinary web server records. Like every website, our host records the IP address and browser of visitors. We do not look at these to identify anyone.

What we do with it

We use what you send to reply to you, quote the work, and carry out the job if you hire us. That is all. We do not sell your information, rent it, or share it for anyone's advertising.

Who else touches it

We are a small electrical contractor, not a technology company, so the website runs on other people's services. These are the only ones involved:

• Netlify hosts this site and receives contact form submissions before passing them to us.
• Google (Gmail) carries the email the form becomes.
• Google Fonts serves the typefaces this site uses. Loading a font means your browser contacts Google, and Google sees your IP address in the process.
• Unsplash serves some of the photographs on this site.

Cookies

This site sets no cookies of its own, runs no analytics, and carries no advertising or tracking pixels. We checked rather than assumed.

There is no exception. We removed the Google Translate widget in September 2026, and it was the only thing on this site that ever set a cookie. Our Spanish pages are written by hand and served like any other page.

If that ever changes — for example if we add website analytics or call tracking — this page will change with it, and we will ask for your agreement where the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries and job records for as long as we need them to do the work, honour any warranty on it, and meet our tax and legal obligations. After that we delete them.

Your choices

Call or email us and ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. We will do it. You do not need to give a reason and we will not treat you differently for asking.

Phone calls and texts

If you give us your phone number, you are asking us to get back to you about your enquiry — by call or by text. We use it for that. We do not send marketing texts, and we do not pass your number to anyone who does. Reply STOP to any text and we will stop.

Children

This site is for people arranging electrical work. It is not aimed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it.
